Dr. Fitzpatrick specializes in Atlas Orthogonal (or-thog-o-nal) chiropractic. This method of chiropractic is a profoundly effective, gentle health care protocol without manipulation. This chiropractic speciality utilizes precision x-ray equipment and a percussion instrument to adjust the neck. Dr. Fitzpatrick is one of only 140 board certified Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractors in the world.
Dr. Fitzpatrick utilizes several different methods to manipulate the upper back, lower back, hips and shoulders.
Dr. Fitzpatrick graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa in 1969.
Graduate studies were done in Roentgenology of the spine and pelvis.
Dr. Fitzpatrick has been in practice in Issaquah, Washington since April 1970.
Dr. Fitzpatrick has attended numerous whiplash seminars conducted by both Dr. Daniel Murphy and Dr. Arthur Croft.
Dr. Fitzpatrick has completed post graduate studies of the upper cervical spine, re-habilitation, postural exercises and cold laser therapy.
Dr. Fitzpatrick is a Board Certified Atlas Orthogonist; Certification from Life Chiropractic College in Georgia. Requirements for certification include human dissection, pre-and post-cervical radiographs, x-ray alignment films and comprehensive examination.
Dr. Fitzpatrick has attended numerous rehabilitation seminars sponsored through Los Angeles Chiropractic College.
Dr. Fitzpatrick practices what he promotes by maintaining his Atlas alignment and an active exercise program which includes postural control exercises, stretching and cardiovascular exercises.
